Frank says that full reserve allows commercial banks to create money. In that case, the system would not strictly speaking be full reserve, in the 100% reserve sense of the phrase. I.e. some commercial bank money would not be backed by reserves.

Certainly Milton Friedman’s version of full reserve, like PM’s is a genuine “100%” system.
Ralph Musgravehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09443857766263185665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2277215496195926573.post-56239998338530027832017-05-08T14:34:11.713-07:002017-05-08T14:34:11.713-07:00Positive Money have said they are not actually adv...Positive Money have said they are not actually advocating full reserve banking, they want to stop banks creating money under a "Sovereign Money" system. They say even 100 % reserve banking would still not stop banks creating money..i.e stop them making loans and then looking for reserves later.

See here

http://positivemoney.org/2017/04/sovereign-money-is-not-full-reserve-banking/Vince Richardsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16366495300835137386noreply@blogger.com
